Membership in NAMI Huntington is open to anyone who supports the purposes of the organization. The annual dues are $40.00 for Regular NAMI membership or $60.00 Household NAMI Membership and/or $5.00 for Open Door Memberships. The Open Door membership is for anyone with financial hardship. Either the Family or Regular membership and Open Door membership makes them a member at all 3 NAMI levels. By becoming a member of NAMI Huntington one automatically becomes a member of both NAMI (national) and NAMI New York State. Both those organizations publish 2 News Letters Annually.
NAMI Huntington pays the NAMI National and NAMI New York State membership dues for consumer/recipients.
It is not necessary to become a member in order to attend meetings. Regular meetings of NAMI Huntington are held on the last Wednesday of the month. The meetings are held at the Pedersen Krag Center Inc. at 55 Horizon Drive, Huntington, New York.
